Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threa...oes-in-football-and-the-wins-ive-seen.100495/

Talking about their favorite "tough" opponents that they (Penn State) beat. OP states games that he saw in person. Of course, 2005 Ohio State makes everyone's list. I just love the "we're back" part. And the fact that 2001 is on that list is funny. Ohio State lost 4 other blargin' games that year - how were they a "tough" opponent?

And now that I look at OP's list, I'm thinking he's a goofball.

Michigan - "Snow Bowl"? GTFO. And 2008? The year Michigan won 3 games??? Great "tough" opponent there.
Wisconsin in 2012 - congratulations: you beat a 4-loss team. Maybe 5 losses. I guess Wisconsin went on to win the Big Ten championship, anyway. Meh.
Michigan State - Before maybe 2010, they were Michigan State. Perennial 4-loss team. You get no credit for any of those games.
And Northwestern - outside of 1995-1996, and maybe a couple of other years, they absolutely do not count as "tough".

As far as being "back", here's a list of the number of losses starting with 2005:
1, 4, 4, 2, 2, 5, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6. Average = 3.9 losses per year.
Yeah, yeah, but... SANCTIONS!!! So take out 2012 and on. 3.1 losses per year.

Ohio State in that same timeframe:
2, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 7, 0, 2, 1, 1. Average = 2.0 losses per year.
Ok, SANCTIONS!!! Take out 2011. Meh. Or not. F that. We have as many losses (22) in those 11 years, total, as they do if they can cherry-pick the best 7-year stretch.
Michigan in 2013 too. I mean sure, 4 overtimes but Penn State and Michigan in 2013 finished a combined 14-11 (7-9). That was a real battle of the titans.

Every once in a while they show that game on BTN. I watch it any chance I get.
It had so much: the refs tried to call a receiver out of bounds when he "clearly" wasn't (as defined by BWI), missed chip-shot field goals, fumbles on the first play of that overtime....
All it really missed was a blown call by an official that got upheld by the replay booth that proved to be the difference in the game.

Dan Dakich, I believe, didn't help matters any by playing the "I'm an unbiased announcer that will cry for Pat Chambers' cause" game. Now, the Pedderasses just run away with it like Sandusky would with a preteen.

Now it's, "Hey! Even ESPN2 announcer is saying it so we MUST be getting screwed!"

Is the argument that they don't support their team like OSU does? We put butts in the seats and we still have had ass drubbings at the hands of Michigan State, plus losses to UT Arlington and La. Tech at home. Not sure "butts in the seats" is the answer they are looking for. But Pedsters are always just looking for butts.

BSD knows it's fanbase all too well...
Ohio State 79, Penn State 75: Lyle, Fouls Ultimately Doom Lions
.../snip/...Let's talk about fouls - despite the discrepancy in free throw rate, that was not a poorly-officiated game. Penn State has always fouled at a high rate under Pat Chambers, and combined with Ohio State's athleticism at both levels it created a scenario in which the Nittany Lions had no answer other than sending their opponent to the line. Some of that is on Chambers - not every team with an athletic disadvantage fouls this much this often - and it's certainly an area of concern heading into two very important seasons in the Chambers era.../snip/...

Here is another BWI thread in which the Cult is raging that no one feels sorry for them. Pnnylion in full "no raping" happened mode. The thread linked below and the linked thread a few posts earlier are Cult classics. Apparently, the fact that the Duke Lacrosse team was innocent and Sandusky was guilty/Paterno admitted under oath that he was told is just a minor difference between the two situations.
