Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

If only Urban Meyer would have had his team take a knee while up by 10 points yesterday, he could have joined The Great Joesus in the pantheon of gentleman coaches. Joesus was all about compassion, and mercy and class (such as beating Cincinnati 81-0), yet the rest of the country still had the nerve to judge Joesus for doing nothing to stop ***-rape in the PSU showers.

Not only do they have the best QB in history, but they also have the best coach. I can't imagine a scenario where they don't run the table.

Unfortunately I agree.

If UCF can't beat them, then who among the rest of CFB possibly stands a chance?

I think they should go ahead and put 2014 in the ring of good seasons right now.

There's not much difference between them and UCF, for what it's worth. So, there is that. They have a terrific QB Their running backs are thoroughly mediocre. They have one decent WR and great TEs. They may be better on defense than last year but that's just a guess. They are so thin on offensive line that any injury there will have them moving a TE to O line. They are thin everywhere but TE!

Well this sucks:

Report: Penn State could have bowl ban lifted… in 2015

The Sporting News cites a pair of sources with NCAA ties and reports Penn State could see the postseason ban lifted before the 2015 season, making the Nittany Lions eligible for a bowl game (and Big Ten Championship Game) starting next season. Per The Sporting News;

Two sources within the NCAA say Penn State, if it continues to “reach and go beyond” benchmarks set by the NCAA in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky scandal, will have a “strong case” to get its final year of postseason probation lifted.

As early as next week, George Mitchell, Penn State’s athletics integrity monitor, will release his second annual report on the state of the university’s athletics programs. The NCAA last year restored some scholarships after Mitchell’s first report that, according to one NCAA source, “reached well beyond expectations.”

Their fans have been saying this for a while. It's a load of bullshit. Where are our reduced sanctions for good behavior? Oh that's right....our penalties weren't long enough to "prove" good behavior, because they weren't worthy of lengthy sanctions to begin with.

What a joke.

While I'm not in favor of reducing sanctions, the money they'd bring in from a bowl wouldn't hurt.

Tho it'd be pretty sweet if every B1G team besides Maryland and Rutgers would continue to donate PSU's share several years after the original sanction period expires. Donate their share because fuck them, and if PSU keeps it, they look bad, and let Maryland and Rutgers keep it cause fuck Ped St.

Well, yeah - they just beat the #26-ranked team. What else do they have to do to be ranked?

They're complaining about Meyer calling passing plays when Ohio State is up by 10 with 2 minutes remaining. Isn't Meyer the one who Joesus picked to take over for him? Is that what bites their pickles?
After BOB!!!!! was hired, they all fell over each other trying to be the loudest person to say they'd rather have him than Urban. Oddly enough, when he took the second train out of town to the NFL, BOB!!!!!! was a terrible coach who was just lucky enough to have Mauti (RIP). I'm guessing it's a pretty safe bet that they'd all rather have Franklin than Urban.......for now.
