Some radio host (maybe FOX Sports) I heard floated out that Penn State's home attendance might be hit during the meat of the sanctions and that the school might have to play some games at neutral sites to try to make them special (like in Europe).

Seems like PSU is actually doing it.

They're playing at MetLife stadium now against Syracuse.

It's too bad they're not playing last year's Syracuse team. They weren't all that good by any means, but they had a legit QB who could've actually gotten a W. This year with a new coach and new QB....they'll probably be back to playing like Syracuse.

Finally found a PSU grad I really like.

I am a snowbird who winters in Florida. The highlight of the season at our complex is a Shuffleboard tournament (Yes, I am that old!) with blind draw for partners.

My partner is a delightful lady who graduated from PSU before I was born and well before Joe was coach.

She can't say enough bad about the man and sees the entire incident for precisely what it is.

And yes, she does follow football.

So did the football sanctions hit the basketball team? I only see about 1,750 people in the stands. Is that what it's like for PSU basketball games? For other games in the Big Ten?

Apparently this is the platform card for one of the BOT candidates at Penn State. I would say I'm surprised at the order in which he put his ideals, but then I would have to also say I'm surprised when the sun rises in the east.

#1 thing on the list is apologizing to the Paternos.
Bottom of the list is ensuring access to a quality education for all students.

No, there's not a culture problem at PSU at all. :roll2:
