Post 23 Season tOSU Coaching Changes

Was also fired by Saban and Belacheat

Bama fans misdirect blame at BoB for not winning the title in 2021 and 2022

2021 they just had bad luck down the stretch. They were without their top 2 WRs for most of the title game vs UGA.

John Metchie tore his ACL in the SEC title game, and Jameson Williams was torching UGAs defense before he got hurt in the 2nd quarter.

2022 was on the defense, bad defense was the reason they lost the Tennessee and LSU games, it wasn't the offense.

Also he moved on at his own will from Bama anyway, he was not fired.

I like it. Bring him in and let him take the calling away from Day and coach Hartline into the position.

Exactly, this is really what we needed, someone who's not coming in to let Day ultimately wiggle his way back into play calling. BoB will completely take over and Day can focus on being a HC and yes he will also be a great mentor for Hartline.

How is BO'B at recruiting?

And I have no problem with him as OC, not that my opinion matters to Coach Day;-)

"How would you feel if I told you [that] you suck?" Milroe told reporters. "He told me a bunch of positions I could have switched to, but look where I am right now. Who gets the last laugh?"

Sounds like BoB is brutally honest and told/motivated Jalen Milroe what he needed to become a better QB.. I don't know how that will translate to recruiting.

Similar to Knowles, he is not being brought in to recruit, and in fact, I would guess one of the things Day will be doing with his extra time will be hitting the recruiting trail (in addition to the assistants doing the heavy lifting).

Same here, hell even if it is for one year, next year we need to go all in on beating TCUN first and foremost. Then a Natty run. He could be the best fit for that with his experience. We went all in next year with the portal additions, cutting staff/staff additions, recruiting, etc. and this should be no different. We don't need a long-term hire at OC with Hartline waiting in the wings, so it could be great for both sides.
