Premier League (Official Thread)

The first and hopefully only time I will ever say this about a player. I hope Costa gets his knee wrecked in a tackle and never plays again. The Leauge will be a better place when that trashy [Mark May] is gone.

He can't help who he is. He's a world-class asshole.

The refs on the other hand can stop buying his bullshit and discipline him every once in a while. When they said on Goal Zone that he hadn't been sent off since 2012 I was gobsmacked. I don't mind seeing Woolwich getting done over like they were, but Costa is bad for the league and the sport.

Brendan Rodgers days are numbered at this point, that team just slow and unmotivated. I don't see him making it til January, considering there's some big name managers that are currently not employed, I would not be surprised if they sacked him in the next couple weeks.

Jose Mourinho with an apparent mental breakdown in progress/post match interview today. All Chelsea's problems are the fault of referees being afraid to award them pennos? I mean, stupid thing to say any day - let alone on a day when the officials ignore two that So'ton should have been awarded.

I never even disliked Chelsea but they seem to have every year added yet another odious person to their setup. So I'm starting to. Feels like Abramovich may be ready to subtract the "odious" quotient by one pretty soon.

Klopp would be a great shout for them given their fantastic academy setup. But does Klopp get the time to mold those young players? That's the essential dilemma for him in going to an uber-club like this.

Love burying Man U immediately from the whistle! Arsenal are going to need to play like that in the Champions League too if they wan to advance.

Torn as to this. I view Arsenal as the biggest threat to City but anything involving the utter stuffing of that lot to be a tremendous result.

Very much want Arsenal to do well in the CL. I think the fourth slot for England is in serious peril. Italy is not far behind in quotient and will get a bump next year for Juve making the finals last year.

Klopp is already making a difference in Merseyside as Liverpool wasted City at Etihad 4-1 yesterday. If the Reds can actually keep Benteke, Sturridge and Henderson healthy for a stretch they could still make something of this season.

Spurs dismantle West Ham to go sole fifth, two points off City and Arsenal for a Champions League spot. I still think they need another guy who can get some goals for when Kane slumps, but otherwise they look solid and most importantly seem to have a decent amount of depth.
