Hell yeah, nice job JT. I said from the beginning it was BS and a fairly tale that Cardale opened anything up because of his arm strength vs any of our other guys. DBs are going to play their position the same no matter if it is John Elway or Chad Pennington. A DB does not want burnt deep I don't give a shit who is throwing it. JT's arm is strong enough and stronger than Penningtons for that matter and he had a decent career in the NFL.

If you think defenses play Jones and Barrett exactly the same you need to brush up on your football...

I would argue that, when Jones is on, the advantage of his arm strength is more evident in the velocity with which he can deliver a 20 yard laser to a barely open receiver on an out pattern on 3rd and ten, than it is in the fact that he can launch a 70-yard rainbow.

So this isn't any good:

According to two sources within the Columbus Police Department, Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired (OVI) early Saturday morning near campus.

Barrett was arrested near High and Tompkins, just north of Campus after policed noticed the player attempt to avoid an OVI checkpoint in the area. Per CPD sources, Barrett was cooperative and blew into a breathalyzer, registering slightly over Ohio's legal limit of 0.08 blood-alcohol concentration.
