QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

The photo they posted on Shag looked more like #1 with his pinky slightly out... but you know they see horns everywhere (Bielema, JT, probably mickey mouse, surfers)

A quick Google image search shows Laura Bush, Pat Roberston, Hillary Clinton, Miley Cyrus, Nicky Minaj and some midget flashing the same sign. I think all of them are going to be able to practice before Barrett and will likely have a leg up on the 'Horns QB job.

Let's see....

If Barrett is to transfer, he'd have to sit a year. Supposing he stays at OSU and doesn't win the OSU job next fall, he sits for a year before being the guy (again) for the next two years.

What's the upside to Barrett to transfer?

To play devil's advocate here and assuming he went to Houston, I guess he would be closer to home.

I don't see Barrett transfering.

"Closer to home" is relative when you're talking about Texas. Wichita Falls to Houston isn't exactly an hour or two by car. Since Wichita Falls is in the northern part of the state close to the Oklahoma border, there are probably 30 FBS schools in 7 or 8 different states closer to Barrett's hometown than Houston.

Stop fcuking up the story with facts, Dryden.

Since I'm on a NCAA Football game kick, it's probably cause people have the same line of thinking that the game did. Like in my San Diego State dynasty when I got a better Proximity grade than Oregon State all because the prospect was from California. Nevermind that he was from a town north of Sacramento, in-state is in-state, right?

On JT, I feel like there's now an increased likelihood that he transfers, though I still don't think it's likely. It's not as easy as saying if he sits at OSU in 2015, he'd have to sit as transfer anyways. He'd have to weigh the "what if" Cardale doesn't declare after next season if JT doesn't win the starting role.

These kids came to tOSU to do many things. Getting an education and making a career, hopefully in the NFL, and winning titles at the top, according to most of them. He's still getting educated. He's winning titles. The only reason he hasn't made more progress towards the NFL is due to injury.

A transfer makes no sense.

The only one I could see leaving is Brax, and I don't think he's going anywhere.
