Herbstreit has pushed the envelope one too many times. His total disregard of sCam Newton, coupled with comments this year about the "5", Pryor in particular and his voting tOSU #9 is what will be his demise within the Buckeye Nation. I don't think he will be forgiven of this by the majority of Buckeye Fans for a very long time, if ever.

I thought the Alamo Bowl started it and/or finished it with many?

Stories of him crying in front of the team evidently didn't help with his Q rating? All he really needs now is to start a Twitter account so he can add snide remarks about the Big Ten and/or OSU like everyone else at ESPN (Feldman, Forde, Schlabach, Fowler, Maisel).

It's been widely reported that Herbert is a bit of a pariah around the WHAC and has been for sometime. There's just some people in the fanbase that have always defended him because he once wore the scarlet and gray. I've never understood that logic given his public behavior towards his alma mater. Business or no business, he's gone out of his way to be outspoken on Buckeye matters and his stance has always been the other way. The worst is he wraps himself in Buckeye colors when it's convenient. I've heard/read a lot of people call him "Judas" and I don't think it's all together unfitting.

I'm not saying I agree with it, but there's a legitimate reason for Wisconsin being over us.

Not really. Wisconsin lost their BCS bowl game...we didn't. Wisconsin has two losses...we don't. Was Stanford ranked ahead of USC at the end of the 2007 season?

For the third time, I don't agree with his ballot. :p

I'm just saying that if someone put Wisconsin ahead of us and said it was because they beat us, I'm not going to worry about it too much. OSU being at 9 is the problem with the ballot much more than Wisconsin being ahead of us. I'd put as at 3, 4 at worst.

1) Auburn
2) Stanford
3) Ohio State

That's how I see it. And honestly, I think we could beat Auburn..

If I ever find that picture from 2003 of him decked out in Maize and Blue, Block M (for moron) hat on, yucking it up with the scUM band and grinning from ear to ear like his boyfriend just got into port it should finish it for any remaining supporters.

I washed my hands of him then.

not sure why so much love for Stanford. They have 1 quality win against Va Tech (which lost to a 1AA team). We have a better quality win against Arkansas which is from the best confrence eva. We lost on the road at night to a great wisky team with the game still in doubt in the 4th quarter. They got boat raced by Oregon.
