RB Brian Snead (transfer to Iowa Western CC, transfer to Austin Peay, transfer to Arkansas St.)

247 has him rated #969 in its comp rating; rivals and scout don't even list him in natl ratings !!!!! Scout has him as their 69th RB... go figure
I believe he was injured last season. He hit the camp circuit quite hard this year.

RIVALS REACTION: Coaches at Snead’s school says the chances of a change of heart are low to non-existent. According to one assistant, Snead has always wanted to play for Ohio State and is unlikely to so much as seriously consider another school. Still, stranger things have happened in recruiting. For now, Snead has to be seen as an extremely solid Buckeyes commit, but with more than a full year until Signing Day 2018, a million things could change.

Snead is anxious to get back up to Ohio State.

“I just stay in touch with a couple coaches, tell them when I’m coming out next time,” Snead said. “I’m going up (again) March 23.”

Snead leaves no doubt with recruiters from other colleges that come calling in hopes of changing his mind.

“No, not really,” Snead said when asked about coaches from other schools recruiting him. “I just cut them off.”

After watching this tape, I honestly see a spitting image of Mike Weber in HS! They have similar builds, both have very good vision, good-above Average speed and most of all both are/were terrors to bring down(though Mikeis having issues with that at the collegiate level). They both have a will to want an extra yard or 2, but won't fly by defensive players. And like Weber having Samuel this Year(and possibly McCall next), Snead will benefit greatly from a change of pace player like Gill.

I'm definitely not seeing a spitting image of Weber. Snead glides at top speed and has a slashing style of running in the mold of Zeke. Weber was/is a bowling ball with mediocre speed but can make people miss with his quick cuts. Snead's athleticism and upside is a level above Weber's, imo
