Honestly I think there could be a serious discussion of Hayden being the starter, or having the most carries in any given game. Henderson has to play when healthy with how dynamic he is and the big play threat he presents, but Hayden is our most effective RB with his vision, decisiveness and feel for the position.
Said it in another thread, but running lanes magically open when he plays and yes, put "magically" in sarcasm font. You can say it was just Purdue, but Chip was maxing out on 5 yards a carry and then Hayden comes in and shreds that mark. Don't get me wrong, I think Henderson is still the starter and Miyan/Chip are valuable...I just don't think they are nearly as effective each down as Hayden is. If it is a pass blocking issue, take him out on most pass plays.
PS - Never forgiving Day for not leaning on Hayden against ttun last year. Love Day, but same as I loved UFM I never will forgive him for not leaning on Zeke in that MSU loss.
