I don't follow recruits unless they're OSU recruits/commits, so I never ended noticing Derrick Green going to TTUN. I guess that speaks for his "impact" so far. Since Green was an OSU fan growing up, idolizing Eddie George, that should constitute him as a turncoat. Plus, unless I'm mistaken didn't a lot of recruiting "experts" dis us for not getting Green and label EzE as a pick to bust? Funny how that all turns out.

To be fiar to Green, we did spurn him in favor or EzE. That must have stun a little bit. Plus Green has gotten better towards the end of the season before he got injured.

I don't think anyone was predicting Zeke to be a bust but many analysts were scratching their head a bit on why we choose Zeke over Green. But it was clear the staff wanted Zeke and got him in immediately. And after I saw his junior film, I could see why we felt he would fit better in our system than Green but even from a talent level, Zeke was the #1 guy in the country in my mind (go back to the first page). Now I have been wrong PLENTY and occasionally even the staff has picked the wrong guy, but they got it right unequivocally here. Zeke made us forget about Hyde awfully fast...

Was just saying that about Hydr the other day. I LOVED 'Los and thought it would sting a lot more this year without him. Boy was I wrong. Still love Hyde of course but it's just a statement to the rich tradition of backs here at tOSU. No wonder there are so many haters. Hahahahaha. And.....Hahahaha.

I can't help but think that on his long runs in the last 3 games, the whole were so big that it appeared anyone could walk through them.
I guess I have to remember that it takes a lot of vision and timing and patience to find the hole and hit it at the right time.
