RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Washington Commanders)

this one?

Thank you
Don't recall, but it could've been the angle. I do know that Samuel has a 4.36 40, and Miller a 4.32.
When was that taken? Most players speed has improved as they've gone through Mickey's system and maybe we haven't seen the ceiling on his speed yet. But regardless they're close, .04 hundredths is splitting hairs.

It's not really an either/or... at least not for game 1. There will be plenty of room on the field for both ... I'd take it farther and say both will need to step. I trust they will.
We know who Brax is, and while Samuel was overshadowed by Eze, he did win that backup job as a frosh and earned the start to keep the wooden turtle.

I can't wait to see Curtis take the field this fall. I thought he looked pretty good as a frosh but I'm guessing he'll look like an entirely new guy both from a physical perspective and from a talent perspective. We'll see early just how much work he's put in this off season. I'm guessing he's filled out his lower half and worked a LOT on his hands.

I thought I saw a UFM presser where he said Braxton, Eze, and Samuels will be on the field all at the same time. He said something to the effect that Braxton is too good not to be on the field, and Samuels has earned the right to be on the field as well.

.........and we have Parris Campbell who hasn't had his shot yet, and Demario McCall who still has a year of HS. Urbs is stacking them like cord wood.

The ultimate play maker role on this team is Brax until someone else can claim it. But my money is on Curtis being the next jaw dropping guy. Zeke is unreal and will likely be the #1 RB taken. But I still think Curtis has a chance to be more - "electric".

He just seems like an elite talent to me. Everyone outside BP who doesn't know that yet will be in for a surprise. I'm saying he will be a household name by the end of the year. That means even the casual non Buckeye fan will know who he is. Book it.

I don't doubt he's special but with Jalin and Dontre already being proven commodities at pivot and throwing Braxton into the mix... he's got 1 big chance coming up. Somebody might regret getting in trouble with all the playmakers on this team chomping at the bit.
Outside RB and TE, I'm not sure what to expect from the skill positions this year... and even those 2 I'm not sure after the starters (and we know Urban wants at least 2 at each position). Will Dunn claim backup RB? Will Samuel split time between Pivot and backup RB? For all I know Wilson, Jalin, and/or Corey could follow Spence or R.Smith?

Will Samuel split time between Pivot and backup RB?
Samuel was the #2 RB almost all year, and he's as physical as he is fast. During the B1G CCG, on the first-half drive that ended with a FG (after the missed pass to Zeke out in the right flat that would been a walk-in TD), on the previous play near the goal line (2nd and goal from the 2?) that got flagged for a false start, both Zeke and Samuel were in the backfield with 12 Gauge. Too bad there was the false start, because I would've loved to see that play develop...how do you defend that?

I'm aware of that. But going forward seems like he spent most of Spring at pivot, Dunn was given every opportunity to take over as Ezes backup (and ofc Weber will be joining shortly).
With the suspensions, I expect Samuel to stay at pivot for Fall practice? When the season gets underway, I'm wondering if he continues taking handoffs from the TB spot or if Dunn/Weber get those? It seems like Urban is trying to find a way to fit him in because he's got amazing talent... but depending what happens with VTech, Dontre, and Jalin... I get the impression that he'll probably have to wait until 2016 to be a starter?

I can see Curtis playing the backup RB and Pivot. He can honestly line up at both and see success. I could see his stats being similar to Jeff Demps in 2008, right under 750 total yards and 8tds with 8 touches/GM. Im sure with the amount of weapons this team has on offense we'd be fine with that, as he is a true hybrid player. If he can touch the ball close to 10 times a game and get around 60-65yds/GM, then that's a very good season since he'd be sharing PT at multiple positions with a number of players. The scenarios he offers is crazy, I.e:
RB EzE. HB Samuel
RB Dunn. HB Samuel
RB Samuel. HB Wilson or Marshall or Miller or even Campbell
