Remember folks, Votto still has to abandon rehab and have a second surgery before he'll be back. He's on the Kremchek Plan. If players don't have setbacks, how is the team doctor supposed to get on TV?

11 days later, I'm giving you a GPA for this one.

With Votto shelved another two weeks and Overbay an apparent non-starter since he's a 1B-DH only, the Reds should call the Marlins about Carlos Lee. Lee can play corner OF-1B, has a career OBP of .340, and wouldn't cost but a prospect or two. Only $250K for the remainder of the year since the Astros are paying the rest.

WTF? 0-2 count and Dusty sends the pitcher on a hit and run. Needless to say the pitch was no where near the strike zone, but Cozart had to swing at it. This after yet another failed sacrifice by the pitcher. No fundamentals and completely baffling managerial decisions.

Watching 3rd strikes (including watching 3 straight strikes with 1st and 3rd and 1 out), hit and running on 0-2, getting caught off second on a fly ball to LF (cost a run), not being able to get down a sacrifice, and getting held to 1 run by a guy with an ERA near 5 for 7 innings (over 8 since the break) equals a 4-2 win.

Got to hand it to Arroyo though. He looked awful to start then suddenly looked better than he has all year.
