I'm hoping Weeden does some developing from 1st to 2nd season.

That said. I don't believe this team's record would be any better or
Any worse with Colt under center.

If he was a regular rookie, I think he would have huge development over the two seasons. At his age though, you risk him being set in his ways.

I think he's better than Colt has shown himself to be though.

Shanahan putting his QB in good positions. Rollouts killing us.

Browns D-line is pretty damn good. QB needs to move. (Which is why I disagreed with your statement about the Washington O-line and RB. It's not that they're bad, it's that Cleveland is good)

Even at Weeden's age I think there is a large amount of improvement that can be made during this off season. He is older, but his football age is pretty much the same as the other rookies since he wasn't playing for 6 years. The difference for Weeden will be that this off season will be his one chance to make a big jump when the other rookies probably have a few years of off season improvement before they hit their prime.

I agree Weeden has done things this year that Colt isn't capable of doing. I don't know if he has done any better or worse than Colt would have done this year, but with a little improvement and cutting down the mistakes he will be much better than Colt next year. I still want Colt to be the backup QB because I think he can be one of the better backups in the league.

Anyone notice how Cousin's keeps taking a dive to avoid contact way before he really needs to? I think he's a little afraid of getting hit.
