'Christmas Story' director dies in crash

LOS ANGELES - Film director Bob Clark, best known for the holiday classic "A Christmas Story," was killed with his son Wednesday in a head-on crash with a vehicle that a drunken driver steered into the wrong lane, police and the filmmaker's assistant said.

Clark, 67, and son Ariel Hanrath-Clark, 22, were killed in the accident in Pacific Palisades, said Lyne Leavy, Clark's personal assistant.

Could not agree more. GPA for you. These people need to be punished to the fullest extent. If there is reason for life in prison they should start handing them out to these assholes. When you drink and drive you are nothing but an F'ing loser. You want to kill yourself fine but don't get behind a wheel and F up someone elses life. I have zero tolerance for these types of people.

What a shame! I really think drunk drivers should not get a second chance when this crap happens!
There is no punishment to something like this either when you kill someone because you decided too drink to much!
I know a girl (not very fond of her either) she has had 5 DUI'S here at least! Last time she ended up with a home monitor system,ankle bracelet. You think that stopped her? Hell no! She drinks like a freakin' fish & she is almost 10 years younger than I am & could pass for 5 years older than me,honestly!
She looks weathered,rode hard & put away wet.
