off the top of my head I cant think of another college head coach whos put so much emphasis on winning now instead of waiting to build a team through recruiting. love it!!

Harbaugh has utterly failed to live up to expectations on the recruiting trail amid reports his arrogance and impatience are preventing him from connecting with players or their parents (Harbaugh: I'm Harbaugh, I'm at Michigan, you will be committing to play for me now!? Player: No thanks. Do you have autism? You don't seem to fully grasp social norms and make me uncomfortable. Sam Webb: Michigan cools on another player, Harbaugh is such a great recruiter!)

Due to this failure, Harbaugh has been forced to fill his roster with mediocre to downright bad castoffs from other programs to try to fill in the attrition as he drives many of the current players from the not very talented roster off the team.

Somehow, this is viewed in a positive light by the Michigan faithful?

Dumbest fan base in America.

I said in the beginning that recruiting at Michigan (or any other traditional foosball factory) was going to be fundamentally different than recruiting at Stanford despite the mind-numbing arrogance of the michigan man who sees them as identical. And seeing as his well founded reputation for the crazy hadn't really sunk in while at Stanford, we don't know what would have become of his recruiting had he stayed there an extra couple of years.

So much hope is invested in the harbaugh, that I can't wait to see the wheels come off.

I spent two years working in the Bay area. Michiganders practice at arrogance. Stanford alums are All Pro at it
