Since I've been posting on your board for a while allow me to introduce myself.

Born & raised in SW Louisiana. I'm an old fart who spent a year at LSU from 1965 - 66.

Thanks to an old high school buddy, made my first trip back to Tiger Stadium since I was a student for the Florida game in 2003. Since that was the only game we lost that year, needless to say I caught a lot of shit.

Thanks to the Internet and expanded TV coverage I'm able to follow the Tigers almost as closely as if I were still in Louisiana.

Looking forward to a damn good game on the 7th.

In closing, let me add what a classy site Buckeye Planets is. You guys and gals are to be commended for the quality of discussion.

Thanks. And whenever you're on BP, have a great day. :wink2:

Hey guys, I'm related to Panthersfan, I wasn't fortunate to be a graduate of tOSU like him, but I hope to get on here as often as I can.

If you can't tell, I'm a huge Archie fan, and those were the great years.

Heres to the NCG- yours, Bill.

I'm from Waldo Ohio, born a buckeye, browns, and reds fan.

I've been here a lil' over a year, been away a while, but need to get back into the groove!!!!

Seriously, though, you folks have one of the best forums around, keep it up.

Non-buckeye fans, you have some REAL fans in here that are 1) not afraid of defending the bucks, 2) not flaming, 3) respectful of other teams (except tsun)

I'm 24, I was born and raised on a farm in central Ohio (30 min NE of Columbus), and like most of you, have been a Buckeye fan since birth. I went to a DIII school to play baseball, and am now kicking myself for it because it hampered my chances to get season tickets for the rest of my life. I was in grade school during the days of Eddie/Glenn/Hoying/Vrabel, so I will always have a soft spot in my heart for those days. My first Buckeye game was in 1995 (a 28-0 victory over Purdue). I was raised by my father to appreciate the tradition of this great program.

This is a great site, run by true Buckeye fans, and I enjoy the content that is discussed on here. Hopefully I can add a few meaningful thoughts every now and then. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of it.

Im 27 years old, W/M, and live in West Palm Beach, Fl. I wasnt really a big OSU fan til high school. One of my friends was killed in a car crash when she was 14. I became close with the family. Her dad was a walk-on under Woody, and her mom was a cheerleader @ OSU. He took me to the citrus bowl in 95 (cleatgate vs TENN), then to the GAME in 96/97 (UM 13, OSU-9:(). I was a cheerleader in high school, and was recruited to come to a bunch of different schools, that would have offered full schollies. ( Yes, for cheerleading, SEC mainly) I chose OSU instead to honor my friend and, do what I know she would have done. I became the captain of the cheerleading squad, and finished my career in 03. My greatest memory, was the 02 NC game, and hopefully this year's game. I met so many amazing ppl in Columbus, and Ohio. I met my fiance at OSU (now a senior cheerleader for the bucks). I love reading everything that the mods and well informed posters have to offer everyday. Keep up the good work.......oh, one more thing :oh:

Florida Buckeye

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Attended tOSU 92-99 and went to every home game during that time. I was transfered to ACC country (Charlotte, NC) in 2001 and then moved to Central Florida right after the NC game last year. What a difficult year to be a Buckeye in Florida. I am really happy to have found BP and hope to contribute as much possible. This is an absolutely great site.

GO BUCKS!!!

What a great time to be a BUCKEYE!!!

I am 43, born in Mansfield, father is from Ashland, and still have family in Wooster and Ashland, and Mansfield. Moved to Atlanta in 1974. I have seen the Buckeyes play 2 times live (mid 80's against BYU in Citrus Bowl and in 1994 against Purdue). I took my 11 year old son to Columbus last year for the Michigan game, and we sat in the parking lot tailgating and watched the game on a TV. Now, my son wears something with "Buckeyes" on it everyday to school. Makes his dad proud!!! He now wants to go to Ohio State to play baseball.
