Split from Strickland thread

Ah yes, party affiliation is all that defines the person serving as governor: Voinovich and Taft probably even share the same DNA.

Well, if you look at my original post, I wasn't referring to Taft specifically. I was referring the Republican control in Ohio over the last 16 years - which has been an unmitigated disaster for the people of Ohio.

Sixteen years of unmitigated disaster? You make it sound like we were living in Cuba, or something.

By the way, I like how you substitute hyperbole for analysis. Did you learn that in law school?

Easy there champ. Don't want to toot my own horn, but I did win the Federal Bar Association Award for Constitutional Law in law school.

I substitute hyperbole in favor of time efficiency. But thank you for taking the time searching through threads so that you could make a personal attack. I'd expect that out of an administrator. :roll1:

He searched a whole 8 posts back to find yours. Had he been a state employee, that may have taken hours and some disability leave.

"Personal attack"? More hyperbole.... Typical.

I always appreciate your shallow, simplistic, self-serving posts. Keep up the good work!

And when someone challenges you, just go ahead and polish that award, and tell yourself that you're still smarter than everybody else.

Please. I mentioned it once in a relevant thread in response to another personal attack from another poster. Go back and read THAT thread. (oh wait, you already did apparently - just so you could bring it up in this thread)

Please find one of my other 2,000-plus posts on this site to reference any time you want to make another personal attack on me - although having never carried on any type of argument or discussion with you previously on this board, I'm not aware why you are deciding to come at me personally.

Actually he pulled the second quote out of an entirely different thread. And that is what I was referencing.

I wasn't attacking you personally - I was simply criticizing one of your posts, which didn't seem to up to the level of a self-proclaimed legal scholar like you.

For future reference, here is an example of a personal attack:

Sorry Robert Baker, didn't mean to offend you. Of course, you don't deserve any blame. You're a solid citizen, and we should all be proud that you "owned" Troy Smith.

Blow me asshole.

Not to toot MY own horn but in 3rd grade I won the multiplication table flash card contest and then went on to defeat the teacher in a post victory exhibition. :lift:

I made it to the finals of the local spelling bee...then I misspelled "alkaline" and lost.

Oh Yeah? I won the Newton Falls Middle School spelling bee when I was in the fifth grade. Sadly, I lost focus and didn't continue to develop my skills to where I could compete on the national level. Damn little league.:(

I'm confident I could take down both Grad and Thump to this day though.
