Rare Game to Remember

This was one of those holiday trips from hell visiting in-laws in Gatlinburg TN. We got stuck in traffic near Knoxville and had to detour on our trip down. On our first night, we had to vacate the hotel due to a fireplace fire above us at one in the morning for several hours. On our return we got stuck in traffic with the Game on for two hours (due to a serious accident) and had to detour only to get stuck in another traffic jam on an alternate route.

Had to listen to the Game in the car in Tennessee travelling home. I was in the car with the sattelite radio on and heard the first half idling in traffic. The second half found us heading north back to Ohio. We were near the Tennesse/Kentucky border on I-75 when the clock ticked to zero and we lost. Just at the moment I heard the final pass to Posey, there was a sign for the Rarity Mountains. I thought how ironic, the rare event that Scum beat the Buckeyes and Rarity Mountains sign pops up. An omen?

10 hours later we are home in the driveway and unloading the car when the cardboard handle on a case of wine broke and every bottle broke as well. These were Christmas gift bottles for my Buckeye family and friends. In retospect, we were fortunate that nothing serious happened to us during this trip. Hate losing to them but this Game had a certain feel to it this year. Needless to say, this weekend will be one to remember. Next year this Buckeye is staying home to enjoy Thanksgiving, watch the Game, and keep tmy balance of Buckeye force in the North instead of SEC country and the Rarity Mountains.
