Well, it's getting easier to shake off these losses, anyhow. Time for the one that really matters.

It's going to help having Shazier play a lot...his speed on the edge is going to be a major need. When you play scUM, you need to be stout up the middle (check), have speed on the outside (check), and have your secondary not miss tackles......not so much of a check.
This is easily the least confident I've been going into The Game in sometime......that said, we will still win by 47.5 points and possibly force them to forfeit, mostly because my mind can't wrap itself around the fact a loss would put us at 6-6.............................

Someday scUM will eventually beat Ohio State again, and that day will indeed be a sad day. That day will not be next Saturday.

I just hope we don't get our hopes up as far as game plan goes. Every week I hear the same thing from Buckeye fans (myself included): They turn the corner this week and the game plan will be more balanced. It just isn't going to happen folks.
Posey being back won't mean much as he won't see many balls thrown his way. The coaches are going to try and keep the UM offense off the field and that means ground and pound.
Will it work? Who knows? These are the same Wolverine defensive players we've had so much fun with over the last three years. They are playing with a purpose right now though. They have everything to gain by winning this game and Ohio State really isn't playing for anything but pride. Hoke and the Michigan coaches have shown everyone what good coaching can do to a squad. Like it or not they are an improved football team and you have to give Hoke and his staff credit.

ScUM wants this game worse than anything. They will play with a passion and swagger that we have not seen from them in sometime. They want nothing better than to rub our faces into the dirt for the past seasons that we have spanked them.
I can only hope that Luke and the coaches can actually prepare this team for the GAME and get this team to play with some emotion and discipline. One thing that has frustrated me to no end with this team is the lack of emotion that it plays with. At times it just seems like they are going through the motions.
For me it kind of feels like Earl's last game with Spiels and Kumerow....Time for the Bucks to step up and make some plays and for the coaching staff to pull out all the stops.

If we tackle in space, we win. But we haven't proven we can tackle in open space like years past. I will have nightmares this week of missed tackles and watching blue players running
