First, you selectively omitted the team that ended up #1 in more computer polls than either tOSU or LSU. That weakens your point of view considerably.

Second, you sound like a flamer who'd rather toss insults than discuss a topic intelligently. That's not the environment we prefer on BP.

NOTE TO ALL - We've had numerous LSU posters who have made quality contributions to the discussions on this board. We want them to stay around, and for them to feel welcome to discuss football rationally. If anybody wants to flame LSU fans or talk smack, take your nonsense elsewhere; we don't want it on BP.

This father to son scolding isn't very well received. I didn't know I couldn't defend my favorite team. I agree this is a professional site that is about good football conversation. I have talked this site up to all my fellow buckeye fans however there seems to be quite the attitude from some of the moderaters. If people such as myself aren't welcome then simply say so. This is pretty much the first time I'm embarrassed of a fellow buckeye fan.

Now that I'm off my soap box, luckily TB doesn't call many audibles at the line of scrimmage. Therefore, crowd noise shouldn't effect us too bad. What do you all think the ratio actually in the stadium will be?

Embarrassed of Buckeye fans is exactly how the moderators felt yesterday while a handful of jackasses were seeing who could be the biggest jerk to some visiting fans who just came for some discussion.

When they flame and troll...drive em into the dirt. I'll chip in. However, when they are here for a decent conversation, we expect folks to carry their weight on the other end.

If people can't hold their standards high enough for that simple arrangement, then no, we don't want them here.

The mods have been here for a long time...we know how great this place is when its on...and its frustrates the hell out of us when a handful of folks come in and try to diminish that.

Just call us elitist bastards...you won't be the first.
