I don't think we have a general restaurant thread, it's hard to tell without the search tools. I thought it would be nice to have a thread sharing our finds throughout the country, not just Columbus.
While in San Diego I found perhaps two of the best restaurants I've ever had the privilege to dine in. The first was a Thai restaurant called Suppanese House of Thai

For any of you familiar with Thai food you know how important it is to have the freshest ingredients for the flavor of the food. This place was impeccable. Definitely 5 stars all the way. If you're ever in San Diego I definitely recommend trying this place. My phone was dead so I didn't take any pictures.

The second place was an Italian place called Buona Forchetta. This place is tucked inside of an old gentrified neighborhood called South park. The restaurant itself is an old house. It ran by Italians, the servers speak Italian and the menu is in Italian. It's pretty much Naples in California. Everything is made fresh each day, pasta is all handmade, they have a pizza oven too, they make some fantastic pizzas. probably the only Italian place where bread isn't served with your meal, you have to order it and they charge you.
