XB1 The Xbox One, AKA The Greatest thing EVER Created (that Haters Gonna Hate)

I assumed he was writing it left handed while using his right hand to...well...it's an xbone and we're talking about Bucknut here. You're an accountant. You do the math.

this smartglass app for your phone is seriously amazing.

It allows you to control your xbox just using your phone. I can type on my phone and it's on the screen. I can scroll around the system by just swiping on my phone and such...SO COOL

I've been having more fun with all the "other" stuff than the actual gaming.

Forza 5 is a pretty cool game, haven't gone much into yet so can't comment on a whole lot. Cars look amazing, and the rumble in the triggers are pretty cool

So pretty much it's a $500 interactive home theater receiver...and it sucks at being a gaming system so far (I'm just assuming this)

Sounds like a waste of $500...for $100 cheaper you can get something better

I am very surprised at just how many high marks the Xbox is recieving. I expected more of the same from many of the experts. You know, the "its to unfocused, it not a pure gaming machine, etc etc But, on every major tech review outlet it is recieving just as good or better reviews than the PS4. The common things being said about it is that is "feels so futuristic" and that it functional use is better than expected. Again, I think it will come down to games for me. Especially the exclusive titals.

Titanfall will push a lot of people to the X1

I just bought an XBox one bundle off of Gamestop.com. It comes with an extra controller and 2 games. Ryse, Son of Rome; and Dead Rising 3. I spoke to the geek at the local gamestop, he said I could exchange the games even up.

What sold you on the Xbox vs the PS4? Just curious.

Yeah I would like to know as well. I'm pretty torn at the moment...the kinect/home theater stuff doesn't really appeal to me...but I spend most of my time with the multiplayer sports games/shooters..not sure if the Xbox will beat out Sony in that regard despite sonys graphics advantages, really hard to find opinions that aren't just spewing the general marketing crap (but perhaps I'm over analyzing). I was a 360 guy this solely this gen..but I don't want to be locked into a gaming experience that won't be as good

I'm thinking of getting. an xbox1 for my gf's son as an xmas gift. Does every retailer offer a different "startup bundle"? Looks like I'm going to be limited to Toys R Us. Am I missing out? Will I be paying more than I should? Will they be in stock in a couple weeks? Is anyone listening to me?

I know there's some serious gamers here. Just figured I'd harvest BP's knowledge first before some slick, ruthless TRU salesman robs me blind. Tia
