No mercy
I know there is a thread for voting who got the game ball, but I thought I would throw out both the Big Tens perspective as well as OSUs coaching perspective:

OSU Coaches:

Offense: Antonio Pittman
Defense: Donte Whitner
Special Teams: Josh Huston
Big Hit: Mike Kudla
Attack Force Player: A. J. Hawk
Offensive Lineman: Nick Mangold
Scout Team Offense: Tyler Whaley
Scout Team Defense: Andre Amos
Scout Team Special Teams: Anderson Russell.

Big Ten Selections:

QB: QB Justin Zwick: 17 of 23 (73.9 percent) for 155 yards and a TD

LB: A.J. Hawk: 10 tackles (five solo), one sack (-9 yards) and a PBU

K: Josh Huston: Two-of-two (20, 27) on field goals and four extra points

Other Coaching Landmarks: Four other coaches are nearing significant landmarks led by Purdue's Joe Tiller, who will spend his 100th game on the Boilermakers' sideline on Saturday against Akron. Minnesota mentor Glen Mason is also nearing the century mark in Minneapolis, as he coached the Gophers for the 97th time last Thursday at Tulsa. Among other coaches, Ohio State's Jim Tressel is nearing the 250-game mark for his career as a head coach (246 games currently) while Michigan State's John L. Smith is approaching the 200-plateau for his coaching career (196 games currently).

Impressive Non-Conference Streaks: Minnesota and Ohio State have not lost to a non-conference foe in more than three seasons as both schools posted season-opening victories last week. The Gophers currently boast a 17-game non-conference victory streak, including bowl wins in 2002, 2003 and 2004, as their last non-Big Ten loss came on August 30, 2001. The Buckeyes have claimed 15 consecutive non-conference triumphs, including three straight bowl triumphs and and an undefeated national title in 2002, as their last setback occurred in the Outback Bowl on January 1, 2002.
