We weren't that bad at qb in 04. I thought the oline was the bigger problem then. 04 Zwich would have thrown for at least 40 yards tonight

I thought last week was a one time thing..coaching staff has work to do..receivers were'nt getting seperation but our play calling was more I hope this works than we have a plan..we haven't had a real passing game since Walt Harris..T Smith was fine but we had 3 pros(AG.TG. and Santonio) at receiver

I am aware of that too, but lets face it, if he had a heck of a season it would be tough to fire him even if the NCAA is lenient. Now his chances are looking a lot closer to none than slim.

Oh I agree 100%, but the upside for him is he gets to showcase his ability. He is in a tough situation, but if he goes even 7-5 and gets to a bowl, that would be enough for a lot of mid tier teams to pick him up as a head coach if and when tOSU lets him go.

I'd like to cuss and scream because that was just frickin embarrasing. But instead I'm going to focus on the bright spots.
1. Basil was 2-2 on FGs
2. Buchanan had one of the best punting games I've seen out of him yet.
3. The defense despite their inexperience hung tough
4. Jordan Hall played very well. He's going to have some great games this season.
5. The O-line opened some great holes.

I knew the guys would struggle and I didn't expect a win...but to be that anemic on offense is hard to swallow. I know Fick is in a tough spot trying to win the job, but he has to focus on the future of Buckeye football. And at this point it is clearly not Joe B. Joe is a good kid who stuck with OSU despite playing behind TP, but the coaches have to know after that mess tonight that it's just not the answer. You're going to lose games this year...you might as well develop your young QB in the process.
