I was flipping through TSN preseason mag and it has listed every teams, toughest game, Must Win, and Best Chance at a/to be upset.

This is a poll for Tougest Game.

TSN's pick: Texas
My pick: @ Michigan

I bypassed the obvious Texas, Iowa, and TSUN options. I picked the game against old JoePa at Happy Valley. It's a night game, they have a very solid defense coming back, and they will be more jacked up than the Buckeyes will be.

I dunno about that, but I would agree PSU is the toughest game. I don't think Michigan has a prayer against our WRs. Texas has to prove to me that they can pass the ball (not just VY, but no experienced WRs)... and Iowa has to replace their entire DL (tho they are #2 in terms of hardest game).

I gotta go with Michigan on this one because it's at Michigan. It could easily be for a trip to the Rose Bowl...and this time the Rose Bowl is the National Championship...so that in itself would make it tough. This game is always the most difficult to win every year. Ohio State just seems to step it up in this game under Tressel. 2003 still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I feel Miami (OH) could knock them off early if they are not careful and overlook this game.
OK...the question was: "What will be the toughest game of the season?"
You are saying that playing in the shoe against Miami(OH) is the toughest game on the schedule? I could see Miami(OH) being the team to be careful with, or the upset on the schedule pick, or game you are most worried about...but toughest game? It is your opinion though, and you are completely entitled to it. I'll go with @Michigan.

Somebody else went with @Indiana.....

Please explain :lift:

i got to agree with you. It seems like every year that team that is clearly better usually wins. it happened to us a ton in the 90's under Cooper and even last year, i thought they were the better team and we handed it to them. hopefully, it wont be a game and a clear shot for the rose bowl/national title

Ok, who picked Indiana?

As for the Michigan game, I've heard one UM fan in particular say that this year's game will be one of the most important in a long time, as it will reveal whether the rivalry has evolved into one in which the home team wins (3-1) or one in which Ohio State has taken control (3-1). One of these will be pushed to 4-1, while the other will drop to 3-2. I'm very interested to find out, and if ever there was an Ohio State team to march into AA and steal a big win, this might be it (of course the '02 team certainly would have I think).

I gotta go with my gut here and say Michigan. Although I think our receivers have the capability to destroy UM's secondary, we will see if that is the case since so much growth and development can take place during an entire season. The rivalry and the fact we are playing in the big house makes things pretty tough on our kids, but we'll find a way to pull it out

The big house was silent until wells got injured after we had 3 tds and a safety. I think we'll take it to them hard.

The only thing would be if we could not slow down their running attack. I think we will.

I voted @Michigan. Michigan usually plays the Bucks tough, regardless of how their season has gone to that point. (That may have been the effect of Cooper, though.) At Michigan, and they'll be wanting revenge for 2004.
