And something comes of this sign stealing scandal, and recruits try and jump ship. The main guys I'd want the OSU staff to target, is the 2 OTs(1 from MO and other from TX). They could do wonders for this class, IMO. They can keep Jordan Marshall, IMO

Their recruiting isn't and hasn't been on par with a supposed "blue blood" program coming off of back-to-back playoff appearances. You have to think any recruits on the fence take a "wait and see" with scUM.

Their recruiting hasn't been on par with the other national powers and we saw that in full force against UGA when they got run out of the building. Now that their cheating has been cut off, how far back down to earth do they fall. Sparty wasn't a measuring stick. That program is jet skiing towards rock bottom.

Not to pile on (actually yeah, I don't mind piling on here) but they are barely top 15 right now with 25 commitments...and that number is about to get thinner after all this. Once the wheels officially fall off before early signing day, there are 2-3 OL I wouldn't mind taking a run at that they have committed (Sprague and Frazier, maybe Hamilton to replace Nave). I am all about raiding a rival's recruits if they actually help the class. The other vultures can go after the rest though imo.

Cannot really blame these recruits from jumping ship. Also don't believe that NCAA/B10 will penalize the Meatchicken team, only Hairball. But, if Hairball gets put on the coaching bench, and he's the reason that these kids are signing up, the doubt about who will become the next coach could be enough to swing them away. Ultimately if tOSU has not recruited these current commits, why would we now? Fill a hole or two? Opine that there should/could be better talent in the portal.

Their recruiting had been in decline before this anyways. 2 years of "success" and they turned it into nothing on the recruiting trail as well. They got zero benefit from their scheme in recruiting, it's only going to cost them even more.
