Not only that, but I think his chops as a HC are pretty overrated. For a supposed "offensive coach", his offenses going back to his SF days haven't exactly been explosive. And he has a misguided loyalty to his offensive assistants...Greg Roman in SF, Tim Drevno and his (alleged) son up north. He does seem to do a dice job of hiring DCs, Fangio in SF, Durkin/Brown up there...but a stellar defense only takes you so far...like 3rd or 4th place in your division.

Just on tOSU's staff, you have two former HCs as coordinators. Both could well get another HC position in the next year or two. They bring in Alex Grinch, I think that's another future HC on top of...

Y'all are underestimating Harbaugh. I'm sure when the assistant coaching staff expands on Jan 9, some uncomitted 5-star prospects father or high school coach will suddenly become a very, very excited Michigan associate head coach.

Yeah, they'll still have it but instead of Rick Flair they went with someone more appropriate for this class
