We've seen a couple games -- some good, some not so good (at least as measured against both our expectations as fans and those of the team). One has to remember that championship caliber football is developed and forged over the course of a season, and it's teams that peak too early that often find themselves fading away when it matters most.

If a finger was on the line (meaning if you're wrong you lose it) and you had to predict the end result of this season, what say you?

Note that this poll is mostly front page fodder, but it may be interesting to check in and see what the community thinks every few games to see how we evolve in terms of expectations as the season progresses.

15-0. Much like after losing to VT last year, just win and we're in. I've been thinking repeat since the clock ran out on the ducks. I just don't see a loss on the schedule. I certainly don't see one that can be recovered from with MSU and scUM back to back to end the season. I'm not even sure MSU will be undefeated entering that game to be honest. Those should be the only two left that can compete, and either one would be a bad loss imo. So yeah, 15-0 it is.

15-0

I've seen nothing from the front runners that leads me to believe we're in any trouble (they're having issues just like we are)

Some teams concern me (MSU, Illinois, Meatchicken) but not enough to mark them as losses (yet)

Not that I would have necessarily voted for it, but you left off 12-1 and 11-2. Losing to MSU, who goes to he B1G Championship Game, and then losing or winning the bowl game. Your scenarios are all at least reaching the B1G Championship. Or going 9-4 or worse.

I'm kind of worried about the 12-1 scenario. Losing to MSU and going to a Big 6 game, or whatever the hell they call them.

I do think MSU will be undefeated, but it's more to do with their schedule than me thinking they're world beaters. They're very good, which is why I have at least some concern, but I think Oregon is a little overrated this year. We'll see though. But regarding their schedule from now until @OSU, they only have 2 games that are even considered loseable in my book. @UM and @Nebraska. Everything else is a joke.

I think we [Mark May] the bed once during the regular season and then close everything else out to repeat as national champs.
The tough thing about that is if they lose a game in the regular season, who is it to? Because if it is against MSU, the most likely loss if there is one, chances are OSU isn't in the B1G Championship game. Then you're playing the game of trying to get in over certain conference champions. Maybe that would be a fun poll. What conference champions would an 11-1 OSU team get in over?
*11-2 SEC
*11-2 Pac 12
*11-1 B12
*11-1 ND
*12-1 ACC? This is the toughest one. I think there's a very strong argument about the first 4, but I'm not certain if they're in over a 12-1 ACC Champ. But I am certain that they are not getting in at 11-1 over a 12-1 SEC or Pac12 team, or 12-0 B12 or ND team. Or 13-0 (maybe 12-1) ACC team.

Having said all that, if the one loss is a random loss, for arguments sake let's say vs UM and they have 2 B1G losses, and OSU wins the B1G championship then I agree that there's a very high chance they would go to the playoff. Not 100%, but very good chance.

I just have an odd feeling about them. Oregon does nothing for me at all. I'm actually looking at air farce as my upset pick this week.

Wouldn't matter. Season would be ruined.

Added them, good call.

I think I'll make a new version of this every week and they can go to the Season Capsule when it ends. Interesting quick shot look at the mood of the crowd over the course of the season. Would love to see the highs and lows represented that way from last season.
