I did notice him rubbing the left side of his head again on the sideline. Didn't seem like it was causing him the same level of pain that he was experiencing at other times. Hope he gets healthy and comes back to continue his ass kicking tour he started seven years ago.

Most every tOSU fan watching that defense has been subconsciously rubbing our heads for 13 weeks.

His health problems are massively overblown by the media. He had one game where he had an issue. Maybe it bothered him for a bit after. But other than the intense media fascination with it, I saw nothing that said he was still having issues for a few weeks now.

Things are normal......anything negative the media can fabricate about Meyer or OSU magically turns into headlines.

Why should today be any different than any other day?

I understand your larger point, but the only person who really knows whether the media have "overblown" his health problems is Meyer himself.
Not true. I know. I’ve catalogued 146 camera angles showing distress and symptoms and have countless hours of tv commentators who have diagnosed his problems precisely.

"Fickell has been a head coach for three seasons and has already done something that Campbell hasn't been able to do in eight, win 10 games."

You should recuse yourself from this discussion after that statement.

Certainly you understand the difference between coaching at an out post like ISU in the B12 and whatever conference Luke is in with his team (Cinci) where all his immediate successors had varying degrees of solid to great results (Dantonio, Kelly, Butch Jones, even Tuperville).

I can totally refute your last point about recruiting at UC. Tommy Tuberftaud’s recruiting sucked for 3 years and left the cupboard bare and his classes were ranked at the bottom to dead last of the AAC. Luke’s first two classes were ranked #1 in the AAC and his 2019 class has a chance to be a top 25 national class. he won 10 games this year playing mostly freshmen and sophs with some transfers sprikled in that he brought on board. this 10-2 team is almost entirely his kids.
