Looking at UNC resume its easily as good as ours unfortunately. They lost their very first game of the year and then rolled. They'll have t win over #1 as well to boost it in a championship game so chances are we'd be jumped by them.

Hell, even Iowa will be right there too with 1 loss in the BiG championship should they lose to MSU. Going to be crazy but we need as many teams to lose as possible.

Who do you think wins the B1G ccg? I think Iowa wins and that's how I'm rooting because fuck sparty. Neither Iowa nor MSU will make any noise in the playoff imo. And doesnt matter to tOSU which one wins either, just fuck all of tsun. GO BUCKS!

Same as TCU/Baylor last year

TV Ratings and $ favor OSU

If the panel gets a chance to pick OSU they will (is my belief)

I think people are being too literal with some intentionally vague rules when predicting what the panel will do.

Nor should they? 4 teams in the play off committees top 10 shows the strength of the conference in their eyes so why isn't it plausible to imagine 2 coming from that conference?

It does matter.
While 2013 ending sucked, the fact that Sparty finished strong in the Rose Bowl -- ending the conference drought there (thanks Wisconsin) -- gave them a lot more respect going into 2014. Even with the loss to Oregon, Sparty was treated as a legit top-10 team... and beating them like we did was no small factor in why our resume put us ahead of Baylor.
When Big teams are considered elite, it is definitely in our benefit if they succeed during bowl season. A lot of people want to blame us for the Big10's fall from grace... but it had much more to do with Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan shitting the bed hard in BCS bowl games. It's not a coincidence that we started getting more respect after a team other than Ohio State won the Rose Bowl.

Sparty's OL is starting to look like ours did at the end of last year and Cook isn't forcing throws. They had a lot of injuries earlier in the year, have a lot of experience, and seem to be catching the breaks too. They just might make a run. I don't think that Iowa has the D or passing game to take advantage of their weaknesses.

I believe the point I have been making for several pages is that a 1 loss ACC Champ UNC is not guaranteed a playoff spot

Unlike your post stating your opinion as absolute factual certainty, I allow for possibilities

if ND loses and Florida wins the SEC with 2 losses we're most likely in. ACC, B1G and Big XII champs are a lock imo because they would all have at most 1 loss.

I really think UNC and Okie St would jump us if they won their conferences.
