Who will be tOSU's head coach on July 1, 2012? (betting closed)

I agree, Fickell is the man, or is until proven wrong.

He is the anti-Hoke.

Fickell vs. Hoke could = Hayes vs. Schembechler.

Hoke looks like a "tough guy" --- who better to take him on, or any other Big Ten coach for that matter??

my other vote would be ABM - anybody but Meyer.

I couldn't bear to see him wearing the S&G on "our" sideline. Yuk.

OK, things have settled down somewhat, and real odds have been placed on the names, so betting will be open until the start of the college football season.

Yes, anybody with odds of 99-1 or higher is on here as a joke.

I mean.....I think grad is a joke, but for you to call him out like that in public. wow.

OK, your name has been added, with the odds indicating that you're 100 times the joke that grad21 is.

Edit - I tried to make it 99900-1, but the vBet system maxes out at 65K-1.

He's already worn S&G on "our" sideline when he was an assistant here in the 80's. Give the guy a break, he's got his masters from OSU and who knows, maybe the fruit juice just didn't agree with him. I'll take a grad over most of those guys.

Although I'm really hoping Luke will perform well this year. Unfortunately I really think it will be a kind of coaching by committee as there have been no changes of any sort in terms of him bring in his people, if he has any. I would hope he feels free to make changes as he is either going to get the credit or the blame for this season and if someone is keeping him from making changes, that ain't fair.

Agreed...I dont really understand what all the character assassination is for. Any other time, a two time national champion head coach, amazing recruiter, native Ohioan, alumnus, and former assistant coach being mentioned for an OSU gig would draw wet dreams.

Is the fact that one of his NC's came against us that reprehensible? Was he not supposed to do his job?
