WineMakers Guild is a winery, and a wine on premise where customers make their own signature wine.

As a wine on premise, customers have the opportunity to make their own signature wine. There are more than 120 variations to choose from. Creating signature wines is surprisingly easy ... and a lot of fun!

We supply the ingredients, equipment, and know-how to provide you with a premium-quality wine made with grapes from the world's leading production regions. Full 6 gallon batches (30 bottles) of wine range from $170 to $270 dollars (before discount) depending on the type of wine selected.

Once you select a wine as your signature, the expert staff at WineMakers Guild takes over the fermenting, racking and filtering of your wine. In 4-8 weeks (depending on the wine you select), the wine is ready for bottling. Now you are ready to take home 30 bottles of your own signature wine!

Terms and conditions:

May be used for on-premises full batches of wine only.
Not valid with any other discount, promotion or coupon, including promotional or discounted Gift Certificates.
One coupon per transaction. Coupons may not be duplicated; assigned validation code required.

Hellllooooo piesporter!

As a long-time wino, I can attest that this wine is pretty good. I mean, not nearly as good as Thunderbird or Night Train, but pretty good.

Also, happy RWSF, everyone!

Highly appropriate!

Let me just drop a word or three in support of this idea.

If you have never done wine-making, all the fixings (including experience and knowledge to guide) are there, on site.

If you have done wine-making you use AKAK's space and equipment in place of your own. Great idea!

Last but certainly not least, the wines made at the guild store are definitely well worth tasting - many tempting varieties.

AKAK is going out of his way with this one guys and gals, least you can do is pony up, yes?

Oh, and get the certificate by donating to BP

Thanks for the compliments...

If anyone has any questions as to what this is all about... ask here or PM me... it's a little easier for these guys seeing that they've been there before so, if you're like, "Winemaking, whut?" this is totally different than the dandelion stuff that grandma made when you were a kid. We use juice from all over the world, it's ready in literally weeks and it's a good product.

You can customize labels for gifts-- christmas and otherwise-- or for weddings, anniversaries, etc, etc.

Edit just to put this on page 1:

It just occurred to me that a couple things may not be completely clear.

First things first, there is a nominal fee for tasting if anyone is just curious enough to stop by and try a few things rather than committing to a full batch, I mean, you (meaning I) couldn't sell this if that weren't the case.

And...

It's perfectly cool to just go ahead and stop by if you want to do that and check things out. In fact, please do.

I'm there at kind of random times these days, so feel free to PM first if you want to make sure I'm there... or perhaps, not.

So we're talkin' Mad Dog 40/40 quality here? And to think, I used to think wine of that quality was only available in finer convienece stores. Learn somethin' new everyday.

Do they have strawberry-banana?

Literally weeks? So, like.....600 weeks or something right?

There are fruit-flavored wines if you are into that sort of thing. SIMV prefers spit-flavored. :shake:

I have purchased and consumed a couple of bottles of wine from this establishment, and they were pretty good.

The only reason I haven't partaken in the bottle-your-own thing is because I live too far away.

Supporting BP by creating your own alcohol? This is a great concept.

Oh, and it should be pointed out that while 30 bottles seems like a lot... if you drink 3 bottles a week, you will have almost drank a whole batch in the time it takes to make one.

Also, you can bring a few people and split one up... or... a few more people and split a couple up...

Or bring people to split a case with, wait for them to pay their share, and then club them to death with a glass bottle, if you can find one.

I'm pretty sure that what I drank was grape-cran-strawberry-peach-shiraz-cabernet-skoal flavored. Damn tasty if I must say so myself!

In all seriousness, this is an excellent idea and opportunity for wine lovers.

don't even try to tell us that one bottle had all those flavors, we all know you had a bottle of each.
Too bad I don't drink wine or I would take up this offer.
