Woody Hayes Athletic Center (Official Thread)

...or maybe photography

see the first post, I have blended the current WHAC with the future one. Looks like it will fit nicely.

From what I heard a few years back the weight room area currently was going to be coming out closer to Olentangy River Rd taking up the first few rows of the "players" parking spots...brining it even with the WHAC football field structure. In any event it's about time they start this project!

After looking at your PS superimposement it looks like that will be the case...the weight room will be expanded out further; I have no idea if it will all be the weight room training room etc but it makes sense. I also thought there was going to be a better entrance to wear the players enter currently! New coaches offices etc. It will be Top Notch and should be!

Here is the drawn map from the OSU map site, It's a bit easier to compare I think...

There is plenty of room to expand around that site....

tedginn05: When you say they have housing Norht of there, do you mean Buckeye Village? If so, there should be plenty of room to grow around it, I don't think it would be too prohibitive to work around it...and I'm sure student affairs would jump if the AD offered to replace those ageing buildings with some new ones out of the way :) ...lots of room to the North if they move the tennis courts, and there is the parking lot as well, but there is a ton of additional parking in the area if they wanted to remove that or shrink it for VIP visitors

Definitely a well need reservation though, can't wait to get some photo tours of it when it is finished :)
