Too true, next year we will be breaking a quarterback in and it might be a similiar situation to Troy's first year where he spent most of the time running and doing hand offs/short passes. That could easily hurt Gonzo's draft status, I would love to see him stay but if he's concerned about his finances, he might want to go.

Boeckman's already shown some signs that he can be a quality QB from the limited PT he's been getting. For some reason, I don't see the new QB being a drastic downfall (though I doubt he'll be near Smith's Heisman level), but I think that we will be in for a pleasant surprise. If Gonzo stays, it might even be somewhat of a sign that he likes what he sees from the young QBs, and doesn't have a problem playing with them his senior year.

I agree 100%.

If i was in his shoes, i would have been taking some extra reps with the younger qb's just to learn the little things.
