Not exactly the smartest decision to make, but the funny thing is, Braxton isn't endorsing anything, nor is he being paid to endorse anything. I happen to use(and sell) Adovcare product with my wife, but you are not asked to sell anything, and many times people become distributors to get discounts on products. Making money is an option, so there's no minimum to sell, so it wouldn't be a pyramid scheme. And also many college players use the products throughout the nation, heck Eric Lichter is making a great living selling their products and a number of former Buckeyes use them. There's even a pic of Blake Sims floating around using Adovxare products as well, yet he's no longer in college. Not the best decision, but I don't see much coming from this, IMO.

I agree you don't have to sell the product, but I don't think Braxton would put him email out there to tell someone about all of the good that Advocare does but not try to sell it.

So it sounds like you can sell it if you're a college athlete, so long as you don't have your name tied to the "store front," don't use your picture anywhere, and are otherwise absolutely invisible so that people are just buying from some random ghost on the internet. Makes great sense!

Possibly, but there are a number of alleges that use the products put out posts and don't try and sell anything and do post because they enjoy the products.
It was a dumb move all around on his part though...

Just fcuking stupid. Damn. How do you let yourself be used by chumps like that for chump change? How do the people who are supposed to be looking out for you let that happen? Why not have just declared and gone to the combine? Then, at least, he could do all the ads/etc. he wanted. Just fcuking stupid. Damn.

C'mon, He's clearly endorsing the product. Don't know how much of a violation this is. Does the compliance department not tell these players that they CAN NOT endorse products? If not, wtf are they getting paid for? If so, #$%$%#!

Pretty much what @scarletmike said. He can't appear to be endorsing or using his likeness to see he products. This is the first time I've even heard of a notable collegiate player publicly endorsing the products while still in college. All usually wait until theyre pro I.e: Tyler Eifert, Kyle Rudolph, Sam Bradford, etc. I also don't know the extent of the violation, but the stupidity is on an epic level.

His endorsement is pretty clearly implied. He's posing with products centrally placed in the photo, and commenting "hit me up" with his personal e-mail address. Other than him coming right out and stating, "I use Advocare and highly recommend it", he can't come any closer to expressly endorsing the product.
