WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion)

I don't recall him running backwards at all last night, outside of him hitting a gap with 9 players waiting, then cutting to the outside for 10+ yards....

He reversed field on a perfectly blocked run that might have only got him 5-8 yards instead of to the end zone.

That's who he is though. He'll dance around, backtrack, whatever. Sometimes it's brilliant, sometimes not so much. You take the good with the bad with a guy like him.

Just goes to show, his good far outweighed the bad so much that I couldn't even recall his negative play(s).

Until Urban lets him throw out of the wildcat for a TD against Sparty or scUM and everyones face melts like in Raiders

3 plays have made me spontaneously yell out this year when they happened. One was Braxtons spin move ridiculousness vs VT. One was Brax' about face last night and book around the left end where he was going so fast and juking he wasnt even sure what he was doing it looked like.

The third play was JT's read on the option play that got called back for a holding. Absolute perfect run of the read option for a beautiful run.

This same thought could apply to the JT thread regarding the read option being 'discontinued' and such. We seem to be tinkering with but not showing the full use of Brax. Save this stuff until you need it and besides his shoulder has
more time to heal.
I love how the word "Tinkering" is used in this post. I agree that urban is not showing a lot of plays and maybe he is saving them for the final run of the season against Mich St and Michigan. The worrisome part of all this is, the health of our Defense. They have been working the hell out of it and its slowly taking its toll. A lot of injuries could be wearing them thin. Lets hope the defense can begin to re-cover real fast.

So you knew exactly what it meant you were just being an asshole?

I don't know what it means to say "Urban called that one up from his days at Florida." What about jet sweep plays, and qb option plays? Should we reference every play in Urban's playbook as being called up from his days at Florida if he every used it there?

Maybe we should refer to all H-back players as Percy Harvin clonesall the time. That would never get old. Remember when Urban dialed up the spin move from his Percy Harvin position guy against VA Tech? What do you think about the Wild-Gator formation Urban keeps dailing up from his Florida days?

Edit:
