WR DeVier Posey (2017 Grey Cup Champion and MVP)

Robiskie had the luxury of being single covered... and at times not covered at all due to having two of the best receivers in college football running routes in front of him. Ginn at 9 and Gonzales to the Colts in the 1st speaks volumes for the Ohio State program.

Posey isn't like Robiskie... he will be a star. He will be a star in his own making and will make big time plays. This guy has serious potential. It's like looking at Ted Ginn's highlight reel and thinking... where should I play this guy? Not necessarily the same about of big time plays but the same thing that makes you think... this guy has something special and will make big plays somewhere.

you guys are starting to put him in the elite status here. he is very good but when you watch his tapes he gets caught from behind and doesn't have the carzy highlights. don't get me wrong, I'm very happy he's a buckeye but those highlights are not even close to ginns

Different type of receivers. Posey is in a different league than Ginn was coming out of HS as far as being a WIDE RECIEVER.

If you are Posey, why go all the way to NJ for a combine during the school year (unless you have family there or something...?). I am not saying this to stir the pot or anything, but he presumably has what he wants (a schollie from OSU) so what more do you have to prove as an individual that you wouldn't prove on the field this fall?

I suppose the only think I can think of is that maybe he just really is that competitive...

He has a brother nearby and wanted to bring his mother up to the camp with him so they could visit him on Mother's Day.

He gets caught from behind because the safeties had the angle. Very few WRs his size can just catch the ball in stride, turn the corner and head downfield the way he does. In addition to having elite speed, and I think it's safe to say that he has elite speed based on film, he doesn't need to make much adjustments after making the catch, which means that he can operate in limited space and run after the catch very well.

The thing that he says he needs to work on is focusing on making the catch, because you can see on film that he is always thinking about taking it all the way. That kind of confidence can only come from having elite speed.

I think his highlights are very impressive...he is just so fluid and makes the big plays against big time competition. He great upside as well and is only going to get better. I think he will be a very, very good one here. The combine is just icing on the cake...I thought he was a 5 star after watching the first 3 or 4 clips on his highlight film.

If he was playing for Tallahassee Lincoln he'd be a slamdunk 5 star.

He will be a 3 star on Rivals...:!

I think alot of you guys are hitting the nail on the head...The word that comes to mind when watching Posey is fluid...He runs fluid routes, and has great body control, which are the makings of a great WR, this is the reason why just b/c you have sppeed doenst make you a great receiver...

crabtree has stated that he's a top 10 national wr. of course, when the rankings come out, he'll be substantially lower, and crabby will come on the osu boards and say that he was simply vetoed again. Had Posey given Tennessee the interest that Ben Martin did, he'd assure himself a much higher ranking at rivals.

I don't watch as many videos as most of you probably do, but I was pretty happy knowing Posey is a Buckeye while watching his videos. 3 star, 5 star, 1 star, blah blah blah....As the saying goes, JT wants him, what's not to like? Having said that, he looks like he could play right now. OSU is going to make a lot of schools very frustrated for a long time.

A kid doesn't always have to be the biggest, or the strongest, or the fastest. Sometimes its the "want to" that makes him a player. Posey's desire to go to each camp and smoke every DB he goes up against say he'll be fantastic for tOSU.

As far as him not having elite speed as some have said previously, there are several very high nationally ranked DB's that he's gone against in camps, that would disagree with that.

Let him get a little stronger and keep building that confidence. He'll fit in here very nicely.
