WR Jalin Marshall (Edmonton Elks)

Colerain holds off Middletown, 21-13 | Cincinnati.com

The Colerain defense did its part by limiting Middletown junior quarterback Jalin Marshall, the GMC's second-leading rusher going into the game, to 31 yards on 20 carries.

Middletown went to the air to get back in the game. Marshall found senior wide receiver Donte Holdbrook open over the middle on third-and 13 for an 83-yard touchdown pass on the Middies? next possession.

After converting a gutsy fourth-and-one from the Middletown 29-yard line, Marshall and Holdbrook also connected on a 32-yard touchdown pass with 3:47 left in the first half. A failed conversion left Colerain leading by one at halftime.

What, so she can see how passionate a coach Brian Kelly is? Or will she be afraid that her baby isn't man enough to get yelled at? If only BK could be more mild mannered, like our beloved Woody Hayes was. He always gave the boys compliment sandwiches and hugs, with the occasional kiss on the forehead before they took the field.

If only today's athletes were like the athletes that Woody coached.......

If only Brian Kelly had as much passion for wind conditions there might be another young man to applaud this "passion" on the field......

I'd better stop there as this thread is about Jalin.
