WR James Louis (transfer to FIU)

Maybe I'm crazy, but from day one he will be the most explosive athlete on the roster. No question, I could see Louis returning kicks this year.

This kid is "special" and brings something no other kid on the roster has. One step to full speed. It will be hard to keep him off the field if he learns the play book. We got a steal out of Florida.
Holy hyperbole batman. Louis is an outstanding pickup and a real steal from Florida, but this is too much.

Let's enjoy this signing and watching him develop under Hazell.

With the recent speculation about Carter, opportunities will be there for the new guys coming in. And Louis has speed and elusiveness you can't teach. This is WR U. so competition will be very tough for playing time but I love this kid's game.

Conflicting reports out there, including confusion by James when asked.

Let's not jump to conclusions here, particularly given the source(s)

Saw that and was about to edit my post. Not surprising if true, but would love for him to stay and reach his potential.

Louis, Bell Absent from Camp
By Brandon Castel

The redshirt freshman out of Delray Beach, Fla. did not report to camp Sunday with the rest of his teammates, fueling further speculation that he intends to transfer from Ohio State.

An OSU spokesperson would not confirm that Louis had left the program, but did say that he would not be staying in the team hotel during fall camp and would likely not participate in practice.

After taking a redshirt during his first season in Columbus, the 5-10 Louis seemed to have fallen behind classmates Corey Brown, Verlon Reed and T.Y. Williams during the spring. He is still listed on the team?s official roster, but it appears as though his days in Columbus are numbered.
