WR Jameson Williams (transfer to Alabama, Detroit Lions)

Just think Day’s scheme is more conducive to outside WR’s.

The opposite is true at Bama where year after year their slot receivers tend to be the big play threats.

As mentioned, when Jameson saw he’d be in slot role this year (he thought Olave was gone) he began looking elsewhere. Is what it is…..

I think his production will be higher at Bama based on his skill set and while JSN likely doesn’t touch Jameson’s #’s this year, I’d argue he’s still likely a better all around WR.

Are we really gonna go with this shit again? He was passed on the depth chart. He left. He landed on the best team in the country. He's a talented player with tremendous speed. Of course he's gonna make plays. Try being happy for him rather than upset he got passed up here, cuz he wasn't returning kicks here nor was he wr1
Yep he would have caught some deep shots and would have busted a screen for 80 or so but would haveen the 3rd or 4th option on this team

I'm sure he could have stayed at tOSU to return kicks but he didnt want to.

The depth chart looks just fine in Columbus and the one showing the worst is probably getting drafted first next season, LOL. Stats only of course

The fact that he left OSU, is now the best WR for Bama(and it's not close) and OSU doesn't even realize he's gone(or even miss him) is arguably the biggest flex for Brian Hartline and the OSU offense. And the honest truth is, if he returned to OSU, he may be fighting for a spot against 2 true frosh. I'm happy he was able to transfer to a program and showcase his talents, and I wish him the best, because this was his best decision. But coming back to OSU would've done no favors for him

Jameson looks like an Alabama WR. Running style, body type, play style.

He chose well for himself. And he looks like a completely different player.

Agree. He looks solid. Still not a great route runner, his reliable hands have been surprising. Sucks that he went to Bama but he made the right move for himself and it hasn’t hurt Ohio State at all (unless we gotta play him in the playoff).
