WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

If you're suggesting he'll supplant Palmer at QB that assertion is extremely doubtful any time soon. Oakland gave up a ton for Palmer, his coach loves him and they own his contract through 2014. It's his team for the foreseeable future.

Im suggesting Palmer is a fucking joke, and will get hurt. Not the first time Oakland did something stupid.

Lighten up, Francis.

No matter how much you hate Palmer, Pryor is not going to take his job any time soon for reasons I've stated twice in this thread already.

Tonyank said Pryor will get his chance because he thinks "is a fucking joke, and will get hurt", which would then give Pryor the opportunity. He is not suggesting that Pryor will take the starting job away from Palmer...we all know that's not going to happen. So, I suggest you lighten up...

I haven't seen Palmer throw or run, but TP will surpass him in the runniing department. His passing will improve but that will not keep TP from seeing the field. If he's patient Palmer will fold like the deck chairs on the Titanic Just MHO.

Let him sit in the pocket another game and get sacked 14 times, and he'll be ready to quit.

Palmer going to the Raiders is great for Pryor. It gives him another two seasons to get ready. Oakland won't get anything in the draft next year, since they've traded away their picks. If Palmer proves to be decent for them, then their future picks aren't likely to be high enough in the first round to land a franchise QB with more upside than Pryor.

As it stands, he gets to go in games with prepared packages, making things both easier on him in the transition and keeping him motivated to improve, knowing that he's going to get into games.

I see Palmer lasting through this season and possibly the next two, then either hanging it up, wanting traded again or getting beaten out by a better athlete in Pryor. There was plenty of fault to go around in Cincy, but I don't see him as the kind of guy who deals with any kind of adversity very well.

Well stated - TP just needs to be patient and good things will happen. He's still a young Buck with a lot of upside.

He may not have this record much longer, but guess who is currently the B1G's career passing efficiency leader, as of today?

Note - If Russell Wilson gets 82 more passing attempts this year, he'll smash this record.

From this week's B1G press release, inside tOSU's Game notes, listing Career Leaders:

Passing Efficiency (min. 300)

158.4..2008-10..Pryor, OSU
158.3..2009-11..Persa, NU
157.1..2003-06..Smith, OSU
153.2..2008-10..Tolzien, WIS
151.0..1996-98..Germaine, OSU

This must be a misprint. Didn't they get the memo that Pryor is only an athlete pretending to be a QB?

What's unbelievable is that among those who've completed their careers, the two leading QBs in B1G career passing efficiency both had Jim Bollman as their offensive coordinator.

That's messed up...but I'm not suprised.

I'm fairly certain Boeckman was close to the top in passing efficiency as well. What does this tell me? It means that JT & Co wanted to maximum efficiency and generally succeeded. Is passing efficiency the best measure of being a stellar QB? That's a different questions for a different day.
