WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I agree with the high throws analysis. He seems to have better reads than last year, but his throws are high which lead to two problems. One is that it greatly reduces the YAC, and secondly, when he misses a receiver it has a hig probability of being intercepted. I hope he can fix this, if he can hit receivers in the numbers on the run it would be incredible to see what this team might become. Let be honest, he is such a freakish athlete and leader, that this is a small critique about him as our Qb. I would take him over about anyone in the country. It is going to be a great year, but until he stops overthrowing receivers, we will have a big potential of INT coming back at us like today

His throws were almost always high, including the interception. Other than that, not a bad start.

That being said all his throws were catchable, so that's a moot point. What impressed me the most with him today was his ability to split defenders with precise passing, especially in the first half.

I think he was held back a bit today, next week you will see him take it up a knotch.

I was surprised by it and didn't really like it, but I'm not going to raise a huge stink about it. I don't think Vick should be a role model for anyone, but that's just my opinion. Terrelle seems like a good kid.

that was my feeling on it as well. can't say i approve, but i can't say i really care either.

When asked about the vick eye blacks:

"I like Vick as a player; not everybody's the perfect person in the world. I mean everyone kills people, murd...ers people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever." ~ Terrelle Pryor.

I see why TP doesn't give too many interviews lol

OMG [censored]ing Tim Tebow God!!!!

While giving a recap of our game, E-SPiN actually did a slow-mo pan across Pryor's face to show his eye black. WTF? Why in the world would you do that no matter what it says?

I don't see them doing this to players that have Biblical verses on em. Then they proceeded to not show ANY of TP's throws or touchdowns. Rushed into the Navy 85 yard TD, then to Navy's next possession while saying "Pryor would then throw an interception".

Its one thing for May to take jabs, but to seriously have such a lowsy recap? Damn, TP isn't going to get any love, and thats what Heisman votes are all about - media love.

[censored] E-SPiN! :oh:

He's a public figure. When he chooses to write words on his face, he puts himself out there for media scrutiny. Vick is a controversial person. It's the media. Not a huge surprise.

If you want some media love, you don't say shit in support of Mike Vick on your eye black. Not a good PR choice. I mean, free speech is fine. And that means people have the right to their own free speech to trash Vick and vick supporters. Means nothing to me, and Pryor can throw props to whoever he wants...but that was an - uh - interesting choice if he wanted to get some PR love.

The same token, Tebow is a public figure and puts Christian biblical versus on his eye black. I don't see an outrage from any Jewish workers at ESPN.

I just think that there was much more to that game than TP's eye black that Im sure only 50% of Buckeye fans actually caught during game time.

But wasn't Vick the same guy that NFL analysts at ESPN said deserves to play football and deserves to be given a second chance. I don't condone the dog fighting but Pryor admires his skills as a QB and there is nothing wrong with that. Should we also go ahead and throw Tony Dungy under the bus because he backs Mike Vick?

The Bible is a bit less controversial than a dog killer.

I would say that the bible is much more controversial than anything. A debate over religion is something that leads to wars.

But, I repeat, why is it that Tony Dungy takes no fire for backing Mike Vick but TP does?

The Bible is the most controversial topic among the American football-watching public? Um, no. Granted, I don't like Pryor idolizing Vick, but that's his choice, and he has to live with his actions. ESPN has every right to point it out.

I didn't say the bible was the most controversial among fans, I just said it is much more controversial than Mike Vick.

Yeah, ESPN can point it out, but I dont believe he should get any bad press out of it.
