From a poster in Maryland on BSB:

"WTOP in the D.C. area had a H.S. football roundup on its show this afternoon and went over a couple of the area's star player's seasons, their post season awards, and their college plans. Concerning Rico they said that he is "Ohio State bound" after his recent and last trip to Tenn. "per the family."

The staff on the tennessee rivals board feel very confident that mccoy is going to UT.

of course, this may be because newburg said that he thought mccoy was going to tennessee, and wells was going to GT.

for those that dont know, newburg is a southern homer. i think he called dukes to ncst last year.

I have a gut feeling he joins his buddy down at UT! I hope I am wrong, but the reasons why he liked OSU so much the Vols can offer as well. If he looks at the total picture I think OSU is a better fit, plus UT has a couple very good LBS who verballed, but we will see..

Here is to hoping he comes here, here is to not jumping off a cliff if he doesn't, and here is wishing him the best of luck no matter where he goes!

Didn't Rico say something along the lines that he and Marcus Freeman struck up a friendship while he was on his official? I thought I read that he could really see himself playing beside Marcus, and was excited about the possibility.

I guess thats just common talk though for a recruit after they come home from a visit. I sure hope he was sincere because that would be awesome.
