another great part of this is that Chane and Chase are close.. so you know Chane will not choose USC... I see that as a real positive for us with Chane... BTW Chase's soph or junior football bio stated OSU was one of his two favorites...

Wouldn't mind for a minute that Mission Viejo become tOSU JV - West to go along with Glenville, tOSU JV - East

He is hearing alot from OSU, N. Dame, Colorado, and UCLA. He is hearing a little from USC. He has always liked UCLA, and it is bonus his brother is going there. Moline says he will wait and see what all his options are. He will want to see what the schools who are recruiting him have to offer. With his brother going through this process, he has learned what the schools have done well and what mistakes they have made.

I think he is UCLA all the way, and I wouldn't be dissapointed if he chose them either, because of the chance to play with big bro, but had his brother been recruited by a smaller school I think we would have a shot.
As long as UScum doesn't get him heh?

From the Colorado site...Chane received his first offer from Ole Miss. Ohio State, Colorado, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, UCLA, Alabama, USC, Arizona, Oregon, Miami and Florida are all showing interest. While he would like to play football with his older brother, Chane says he has to do what is best for himself.

Chane describes himself as a "Jerome Bettis" type of back. Parents want him to stay in state, but will support whatever decision he makes, said he would love to play with his brother at UCLA, but will look around and find the best fit for him. Asked about ND, he said he was somewhat interested.

Chane is intersted in UCLA, ND, Ohio State, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, USC, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss (offer).

Although he is being recruited primarily as a fullback, Chane the Train wants to play RB in college. He is working hard to lower his 40-time from 4.7 to 4.6 so that he can have the opportunity to be a feature back at the next level.

His current favorites are UCLA, USC, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech, with Notre Dame and Colorado recruiting him the hardest.

Saw him play last year a few times. He is a tailback all the way. If forty times make football players then the sport would be called trackball or something else. In the games I saw him play, he had plenty of long runs against top notch competeion. First thing you realize when watching him is his running instints, he knows when to be patient and wait for the hole or shoots through a hole completely committed. He has that uncanny ability to deliver the hit to the defender similar to a Walter Payton. Wears out the tacklers as the game goes on. Also holds on to ball well a major key when looking for a feature tailback. I don't know how he compares to Chris Wells or other backs in Ohio but in So-Cal, he's top two next year without a doubt. I have not heard any local insider information in the community about where he's heading but I'm planning on checking around and reporting it here.
