Williams has 12 offers at this point, recently receiving offers from Ohio State and Boston College. He is very, very excited about his offer to OSU and calls them a dream school. He has been told by the staff they are looking for a dual threat type quarterback.

Isiah now has offers from Ohio State, Boston College, Akron, Ball State, NIU, Illinois, Purdue, Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Kansas and Indiana.

That tells you where this offense is headed. JT has seen the future, and it is laced with Mike Vick references.
I think the staff is only looking for a dual-threat Qb this year as a compliment to two pocket passers in Boeckman and Shoenhoft. In the future they'll probably take the best qb they can get, regardless of style.

So, I guess this means the Bucks are willing to take a QB in this class??? Or, is he an "athlete"?

I would have figured that Hakes, Tebow, Schlitcher, or Hartline would have received an offer before Williams. Not saying that I'm disappointed, just surprised. Hope we become a solid choice for him.

Any news on where he graded out at the Elite 11 camp?

By Chris Pool Midwest Recruiting Analyst

Chicago quarterback Isiah Williams has been compared to a young Byron Leftwich. After a couple of strong combine performances this spring, the scholarship offers have started to roll in. Which schools are the latest to offer Williams. Which three schools lead? Take a look

Williams has recent offers are Ohio State, Boston College, Oregon, Akron and Ball State. He also has offers from Illinois, Iowa, Purdue, Kansas, Eastern Michigan, Toledo and Northern Illinois. Wililams thinks Michigan is going to offer soon. Isiah's arm strength is being compared with Ryan Perrilloux.
They are calling him a raw talent that just needs coaching. His top three schools are Ohio State, Purdue and Iowa. He has no leader.

Some tidbits gleaned from that
- says his leaders are OSU, Iowa and Purdue.
- he is bigger and has a stronger arm (!) than troy smith
- the guy could easily throw it over 60 yards (did so repeatedly in the video interview)

Reportedly, he can throw it 85 yards, with accuracy.
Indeed, it was hard to judge the distance from the video but the few throws he missed he actually slightly overthrew the guy on that long of a throw... simply amazing.
