Jai is currently interested in several schools including LSU, Tennessee, USC, UCLA, Miami, Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas, and Florida State (all offered); he has been in contact with Ohio State, and thinks that a Buckeye offer is imminent.

Jai is a true speed merhcant who has posted a 10.22 (wind aided) 100m dash; his best official times are 10.38 and 10.45; he has also run a 21.3 200m dash.

Jai is from the same high school as former Hurricane and current Baltimore Raven star Ed Reed. Because of that connection, Jai became interested in Miami; he camped at Miami last summer, and the 'Canes are one of his current leaders. His other leaders are LSU and Tennessee.

Much of the above information was derived from the following articles:

Scout (2/28/05)
Scout (4/3/05)

According to Rivals, Jai is the #98 overall prospect and the #8 cornerback prospect in the nation for 2006; he is the #3 prospect in the state of Louisiana. Jai's top 8 schools (all offered) are LSU, USC, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan, Miami, and Georgia.

The Rivals LSU front page is announcing that Eugene indeed switched his commitment to LSU. Changing the thread title (with a big-ass smile on my face).
