From Scout.com...playing professional baseball may also be an option for Kendrick. Baseball is his first love and he may be drafted when the time comes. He currently has football offers from UNC, Duke, and ECU. NC State has told him an offer is likely.

From Rivals100.com...Burney is receiving interest from all in-state schools as well as Ohio State, Virginia, Tennessee, Michigan State and Maryland. His coach sees him as a cornerback in college. This past season Burney had 900 yards rushing, 700 yards passing, and 4 INTs helping his team win back-to-back state titles. He plans to camp at East Carolina, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest and some out of state schools.

Athetic player that can play a wide variety of positions in college. Has school-record 16 career interceptions going into his senior year.
Interested in Duke, North Carolina, East Caroline, NC State, Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee."Kendrick is he's a tremendous athlete with great speed and leaping ability. He's got all the things a skilled athlete can have. This year, he became a great leader for us. He's a very intelligent guy and knows how to read defenses. Then he's also very elusive. I've been here 23 years and we've been fortunate to have some special kids, but he's on top of that list." -Southwest Onslow head coach Phil Padgett
