He is receiving interest from Iowa, Arkansas, Texas A&M, SMU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Purdue, Nebraska, Arizona, Arizona State, and Minnesota. He is very intersted in Big 10 schools including OSU.

He must be running track against some crappy schools if his 40 time is only 4.8

I cannot say how serious our interest level is. He is not a terribly great student and seems to be a potential DT at best. But we have apparently been in contact, per Bill Kurelic, so there must be something about this kid the staff likes.

i believe this is the dallas/ft worth area. i know the staff mad an extra effort in san antonio to reach out to tx hs coaches. practices were open to them and they even tried to hold meetings/clinics. a lot of this stuff is to develop guys and realtionships for the future. it also depends on how legit the time is. if in fact the guy is legit 4.8 thats not bad speed he has a good list of 'interested' schools

Good point...a 4.8 electronic time out of a kid who is 6-3 235 is fantastic. A 4.8 hand-timed 40 is not bad, but nothing special.
