Ahmad attends the same high school as national RB recruit Chris Rainey. He transferred to Lakeland last year after two years at Kathleen. As a sophomore, Ahmad contributed 71 tackles and 10 interceptions. Although he admits to growing up as a Florida State fan, Ahmad says he is wide open to all schools at this point. Rivals lists him with offers from tOSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, and Nebraska.

My Take: Only two clips to view but Ahmad is obviously a very smooth, natural athlete. Definitely worth keeping an eye on but more film is needed for a better analysis.

all right here is the scoop on black..i know this
kid very well...i taught him when he was a sophomore at
katheen..he transfered to lakeland when Coach Tate left K'leen..he is also in my dad's biology class at Lakeland High School..kid is probably going to
play safety in college...great instincts and is tough
as nails..my dad is a shill for Ohio State and told black he needed
to head up to a real football school...but black said he wants to go
to FSU if he gets an offer..my dad also teaches rainey and rainey does have an offer from OSU..Chris said he likes UF, FSU and USC..but FSU is also the team to beat on Rainey...both are great kids and yes black did have 10 picks as a sophomore on a team that went to the state semifinals..he is a heck of a point guard too..i will keep you up on news from the lakeland high kids

you should see his sophomore highlights..he wants to go to FSU..if they offer it is done..and yes I have seen him
play 20 plus games in person and he is a monster..tough as nails

Ahmad says he only has offers from Ole Miss and Nebraska. He does even mention receiving much attention from tOSU, but does list the Buckeyes in his top five with Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida, and LSU.
